Order - Payment

Upon receiving the estimated completion time for your guitar, a non-refundable deposit representing 15% of the instrument's price will be required to confirm your order. Please note that the completion time may vary significantly. However, I commit to processing the confirmed orders as they come in, reserving 1 or 2 instruments occasionally for display purposes (such as exhibitions). I will contact you when I start the production of your instrument to finalize the details of your order, including payment and delivery arrangements.

Warranty

My guitars are warranted against any manufacturing defects for a period of 5 years from the date of receipt, with return shipping costs being your responsibility if applicable. This warranty applies only to the original owner and excludes damages that may result from improper use of the instrument (impacts, exposure to heat, cold, humidity, or dryness, etc.). If you choose to have the instrument delivered by a carrier, it is crucial to inspect the instrument in the presence of the delivery person and ensure it is in perfect condition. Transport companies typically offer insurance, which is recommended to be taken. Please do not hesitate to refuse the package if you notice any issues. If you neglect this inspection, no warranty claims can be made. Additionally, I no longer ship my guitars from December 1st to March 31st due to obvious climate-related reasons that may cause problems during storage in warehouses or carrier vehicles.

Protection of Your Investment

As a living material, wood is sensitive to changes in humidity. Therefore, extreme caution is recommended, especially during winter periods when the air is very dry, often exacerbated by electric heating. It is highly recommended to always store the instrument in its case and place a small humidifier inside. (An air humidity level of around 55% is recommended.) The "cellulosic" varnishes and natural oils (MaestrO2), carefully chosen for their acoustic properties, are applied in the thinnest possible layers to allow the wood to vibrate freely. As a result, they do not have the impact resistance of industrial varnishes. They do not require any particular maintenance, except for regular wiping with a soft cotton or microfiber cloth. However, please note that they may react to solvents, especially those found in polishes or in the foams and rubbers of certain display stands, accessories, adhesive supports, or stands. It is advisable to place a cotton fabric between the instrument and these items as a preventive measure. These varnishes have a slow and gradual aging process and may "settle" for a few months, revealing the wood's pores (on the back and sides) or the hard fibers (on the top), which is normal. For these reasons, the warranty does not cover the instrument's finish. In any case, do not hesitate to ask for advice on maintaining your guitar and keeping it in optimal conditions.

Customer Satisfaction

If, despite the care and precision I put into crafting my instruments, your guitar does not meet your full satisfaction, you have a period of 15 days after its receipt to return it to me. In this case, you will be reimbursed within a maximum of one month; only your deposit and any necessary repairs to the instrument will be deducted from this amount (this applies only to "standard" orders, excluding specific or custom orders).
